Welcome to Douglas Tupper Photography. I am Doug Tupper, a photographer from Pella, Iowa, whose passion for photography began in 1974 at the age of 13 and has since been a lifelong pursuit. Now retired, I dedicate my time to volunteering with community organizations, capturing and sharing the beauty and spirit of Pella and beyond. For me, photography is about more than taking pictures—it is about telling stories and preserving moments that create genuine connections. My portfolio showcases vibrant and diverse cultures, reflecting how photography has shaped me as an artist and deepened my ties to the Pella community. I am grateful to Visit Pella, the Pella Historical Museum, Spirit of Pella, and the Pella Opera House for providing opportunities to attend events and explore places few may experience. It is deeply rewarding to see my work have a meaningful impact.
